AQUA MOD
12 products
The Aqua collection combines everything that diving watch enthusiasts have revered Seiko for decades - and refines it. Based on the proven NH35 and NH36 automatic movements, we build each watch by hand, using components from Namoki, Crystaltimes, DLW and selected workshops in Europe. The result: a Seiko Mod that barely resembles the standard watch on the outside - and yet retains the robustness and repairability of the original.

The Aqua Collection brings together everything that diving watch enthusiasts have admired about Seiko for decades—and takes it to the next level. Based on the proven NH35 and NH36 automatic movements, we hand-assemble each watch using components from Namoki, Crystaltimes, DLW, and select workshops in Europe. The result: a Seiko Mod that barely resembles the production model on the outside—yet retains the original’s robustness and repairability.
At the heart of every Aqua Mod is the dial. We use applied indices with BGW9 or C3 Super-LumiNova that glow for hours in the dark—a real added value compared to the often-criticized originals. We also combine double-anti-reflective sapphire crystals, brushed bezels with ceramic inserts, and fully screw-down crowns. The case is sourced either from the Seiko SKX007/SKX013 or the modern 5KX-Sport—both known for their 200-meter water resistance and suitability as everyday watches.
The Aqua line is aimed at anyone looking for an honest tool watch without paying the premium of established brands. While a comparable microbrand diver starts at between €600 and €1,200 today and a genuine Swiss diver runs into the four-digit range, our Aqua model starts at a fraction of that—with equivalent or better craftsmanship of the visible components. Each watch is adjusted on a Zeitwaagen test bench before shipping and undergoes a 200-meter pressure test.
Typical Aqua configurations include the Submariner homage in classic black and silver, the Pepsi variant with a two-tone GMT look (when configured with the NH34 movement), and the Tropical Diver with warm, aged lume tones. Upon request, we can combine Jubilee, Oyster, or Tropic bracelets—including fully screw-down links and side-screwed end links.
If you’re looking for a Seiko Mod as a diver’s watch, here’s the direct route: Choose the dial, bezel, hands, and strap—we’ll assemble the watch in 7 to 10 business days, engrave the caseback upon request, and deliver it with a two-year warranty on the movement and water resistance. A watch that’s just as suited for diving as it is for a suit—and one you can mod yourself someday.
