Aqua Mod - Black

The Aqua Mod Black is MedoMods' everyday diver: a 41 mm sport watch built on the Seiko NH35 automatic, with a full complement of dive-watch DNA — sapphire crystal, Super-LumiNova, screw-down crown, and an exhibition case back so you can watch the movement work. It is not trying to be exotic. It is trying to be the watch you actually reach for every morning, confident it will handle whatever the day delivers without asking for special treatment.

Movement

The Seiko NH35 inside this Aqua Mod offers hacking seconds, hand-winding and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. It hacks — meaning the seconds hand stops when you pull the crown, enabling precise time-setting — and it winds by hand if you want to top up the power reserve without waiting for the rotor to do it. Approximately 41 hours of power reserve means the watch survives a full weekend off the wrist. The exhibition case back lets you observe the oscillating rotor and the balance wheel ticking away behind sapphire crystal.

Case & Crystal

At 41 mm the stainless steel case is modern in proportion — large enough to read clearly without the bloat of an oversized sport watch. The screw-down crown delivers 5 ATM water resistance: fine for hand-washing, cooking, rain, and day-to-day activities. The sapphire crystal combines scratch resistance with Super-LumiNova application across the dial, so the watch reads clearly whether you are under office LEDs or checking the time in a darkened cinema. No mineral glass here — sapphire is genuinely more scratch-resistant, and it shows after a year of daily wear.

Dial & Design

The black dial is direct: bold applied indices, contrasting hands, and a clean layout that prioritises legibility over decoration. Super-LumiNova charges quickly under light and releases a long, bright glow in darkness — important for a diver-style watch that is meant to be readable in all conditions. The rubber strap keeps the sport character consistent, and the butterfly safety clasp means the watch stays on your wrist even during more active moments.

Ordering and delivery

• Every watch comes with a 2-year warranty from delivery. It covers manufacturing defects and functional problems under normal use. It doesn't cover scratches, damage from opening the watch, or water damage.
