The Moon collection is our answer to two of the most beautiful complications in watch history: the moon phase and the moonwatch look of classic chronographs. In both cases, we provide the appearance and - in the case of the moon phase variant - the genuine function, based on proven Seiko platforms and selected Mod components.

The Moon Collection is our take on two of the most beautiful complications in watchmaking history: the moon phase and the Moonwatch aesthetic of classic chronographs. In both cases, we deliver the look and—in the case of the moon phase version—the actual function as well, based on proven Seiko platforms and selected mod components.
For the moon phase version, we combine the Seiko NH38 movement (with an open-worked seconds wheel) with a surface-mounted moon phase module and a multi-layered dial made of aventurine or milled brass. The small moon disc—available in steel, rose gold, or black PVD—runs precisely in sync with the date mechanism and, when set correctly, only needs to be adjusted by one day after approximately 2.5 years. A true mechanical complication, the kind that usually starts at four-figure prices.
The Moonwatch-inspired version is visually an homage to the legendary chronograph that flew to the moon. Black tachymeter dial, white subdials, brushed stainless steel case with a screw-down bezel, box-shaped Hesalite or sapphire crystal. Inside, to be honest, there’s no chronograph movement ticking away, but rather a Seiko NH automatic movement with three hands; the subdials are purely decorative. In return, the watch doesn’t cost a four- or five-figure sum and is significantly less complicated in everyday use than a genuine hand-wound chronograph.
Both versions are aimed at collectors who love the design but are unwilling or unable to pay the premium for the originals. The Moon Phase Mod functions as a genuine complication—the Moonwatch-Inspired as a visual homage. We always communicate this transparently because a Seiko Mod is not meant to be a fake, but rather our own interpretation.
The case, bezel, and crown are individually weighed and measured before assembly to avoid tolerances. Each watch undergoes a five-position accuracy test on the Zeitwaagen test bench and is adjusted to a maximum of ±15 seconds per day—usually significantly better. A two-year warranty on the movement and workmanship is standard; an optional sapphire crystal upgrade is available ex-factory.
The Moon collection is small but technically our most sophisticated line. Anyone looking for a Seiko moon phase mod or a Seiko-based Speedmaster homage will find here one of the few handcrafted options in Europe.
