The Sub-Collection is probably the most popular line in the entire Seiko modding universe—and at the same time the one with the highest standards of craftsmanship. Anyone who buys a Seiko Submariner homage compares it—whether consciously or not—to the original. That is precisely why this collection features the most engineering.

The case comes from the Seiko SKX007, the modern 5KX-Sport, or—for purists—the high-quality NH35 aftermarket case with correct dimensions (40 mm diameter, 14 mm case thickness, 20 mm lug width, fully polished sides, and brushed top). We source the ceramic bezels from Crystaltimes or DLW—they are scratch-resistant, colorfast, and available in black, blue, green, and the iconic Pepsi look. The bezel mechanism is tested for 120 click stops and readjusted before installation.

Inside, the Seiko NH35 ticks away with a 41-hour power reserve—a movement that has nothing to prove in terms of robustness, repairability, and accuracy. Those seeking a higher-end option can optionally upgrade to the Miyota 9015 (thinner, quieter, smoother second-hand movement). Both movements are adjusted in five positions on the Zeitwaagen test bench before shipping.

The dial is the crowning touch. We offer sandwich dials with a thick layer of lume underneath (BGW9 in blue or C3 in green), classic bar indices with appliqués, or vintage tropical variants with an aged lume tone. The hands are color-coordinated—including the famous Mercedes-style hour hand design, which has become standard in many mod layouts.

Water resistance: 300 m with the crown properly screwed down and fully functional sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating. Every watch undergoes a pressure test before shipping. The steel bracelet is a fully screw-down Oyster or Jubilee bracelet with a Glide-Lock-style diving extension—no pin bracelet, but genuine screw-down links.

Important: We do not use any third-party trademarks, no “Submariner” lettering, and no crown as a logo. The watch is an independent Submariner-inspired mod, not a counterfeit.
