Ice blue with a sunburst finish and hour numerals in Arabic-Indic script: the DAY MOD - BABY BLUE ARABIC swaps the usual batons for polished silver Eastern Arabic numerals. An NH35 automatic movement with a date display drives it, and the date sits at 3 o'clock under a magnifier. There is no day-of-the-week display. At 12 o'clock there is a window with Arabic script. The 316L stainless steel case measures 40 mm and is framed by a fluted bezel.

Pale blue, silver script

The dial sits somewhere between ice and open sky. Fine rays run from the centre to the edge, and as soon as the wrist moves, a bright wedge crosses the surface. In morning light the blue looks almost white; under lamps it turns a shade cooler. Against this ground the hours appear as Eastern Arabic numerals, polished and silver. They throw back short flashes of light and stay easy to read on the pale dial, because their polish stands out against the brushed rays. Super-LumiNova serves as the luminous material, so the time remains readable in low light.

Among the models with Arabic numerals, this is the lightest. Its royal blue sister carries the same script on a deep, saturated blue that looks more serious and suits the evening. The grey Arabic DAY MOD takes a route of its own: a gradient from slate to silver, set stones instead of numerals and a 40.5 mm case. If you want something fresh and light, the baby blue is the one.

40 mm of steel with an exhibition back

At 40 mm across, the case suits slim and broader wrists alike without looking bulky. Sapphire crystal protects the dial from scratches, and the exhibition case back lets you watch the movement at work. The crown screws down.

Three rows of steel

It is worn on a stainless steel President bracelet: three rows with a polished centre row, a safety folding clasp and adjustable length. The pale blue pairs well with linen, denim, light grey and navy, with a white shirt in summer and dark knitwear in winter.

NH35 automatic

The NH35 winds itself as you wear it and can also be wound by hand via the crown. The seconds hand stops while you set the time, so you can set it to the second.
