Numerals That Hold Back

Most watches with Eastern Arabic numerals print them bright and high-contrast. This one does the opposite: the dark grey sits only slightly above the black, so depending on the light the numerals step forward or almost dissolve into the dial. The horizontal embossing catches light in fine lines and gives the dial depth without adding colour. The Super-LumiNova hands keep the time readable after dark.
