MASTER MOD - WHITE MOON

The Master Mod White Moon takes the same VK63 mecha-quartz chronograph platform and shifts the palette to white — a cleaner, crisper aesthetic that gives the multi-subdial layout maximum contrast and readability. Where the Blue Moon dials into atmosphere and mood, the White Moon dials into legibility and clarity. The result is a 40 mm chronograph Seiko mod that is immediately readable at a glance and carries the understated authority of a well-made tool watch with moon-phase-inspired design accents.

Movement

The Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz hybrid movement delivers a fully functional chronograph: 60-minute counter, 24-hour subdial, and running seconds — all operational, all precise, all actuated by the pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock. The VK63 offers quartz accuracy with the satisfying, snappy pusher action of a traditional mechanical column-wheel chronograph. The tachymeter bezel enables speed measurement over a measured distance. A genuinely useful set of complications, not decorative filler.

Case & Crystal

The 40 mm stainless steel case is well-proportioned for the three-subdial layout — close to the sweet spot for wrist coverage and subdial spacing simultaneously. The screw-down crown delivers 5 ATM water resistance for everyday use. Sapphire crystal with Super-LumiNova means the white dial with its multiple subdials stays legible in dim conditions as well as bright. The solid steel case back provides a clean, robust close to the exterior.

Dial & Design

White chronograph dials have a long motorsport tradition — they read fast, they read clean, and they age gracefully. The Master Mod White Moon honours that tradition while the moon-phase-inspired design elements in the layout add a touch of complication-era elegance to what is otherwise a purposefully clean instrument.
