Movement

The Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz hybrid movement provides quartz-accurate timekeeping with fully functional chronograph pushers. Start, stop, and reset all operate correctly via the pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock. The 60-minute counter subdial, 24-hour subdial, and running seconds subdial are all live — not decorative. The tachymeter bezel lets you measure speed over a measured distance. This is a watch that does what its dial promises.

Case & Crystal

The 40 mm stainless steel case is balanced for the multi-subdial layout — generous enough to give each complication its own breathing space on the dial, compact enough not to overwhelm the wrist. The screw-down crown maintains 5 ATM water resistance. Sapphire crystal with Super-LumiNova ensures the blue dial and its complications stay legible in all light conditions. The solid steel case back provides a clean, robust exterior.

Dial & Design

Blue Moon is an apt name: the deep blue of the dial gives the watch an after-dark quality, as if it belongs on the wrist during evening events rather than only 9-to-5 duties.
