The Customer Mod Black slate-green is the stealth version of the slate-green dial concept. Where the silver variant plays with contrast and warmth, the black edition keeps everything controlled: a dark dial with green Roman numerals that shifts from understated to sharp depending on the light. What comes of it is a black Seiko Mod that slips under a shirt cuff at the office and reappears on the dinner table as something worth noticing. Everything else stays steel-coloured: the case, the fluting of the bezel and the five rows of the link bracelet.
Nine hours are set as Roman numerals in green on the smooth black. At 12 o'clock a silver triangle stands in their place, at 9 o'clock a silver bar, and where the 3 would be, a magnifier enlarges the date. Right at the edge runs a ring of minute figures in steps of five. The baton hands above are silver-coloured and filled with white, and the thin seconds hand shares their silver. Down the middle of the bracelet, polished links answer the gleam of the fluted bezel.
A black slate-green dial occupies a different category from a plain black dial. The green numerals add visual depth without lightening the black — it reads differently at the wrist than it does in a product photo, and that quality of revealing itself gradually is exactly what makes a watch worth wearing every day. The silver sister carries the same numerals on a silver-white dial and so looks brighter and louder; the gold-and-black model of the line takes another road altogether, with stick indices, a smooth bezel and a gold-coloured case.

Choose the size of your black slate-green above. Anyone after a Seiko Mod that works everywhere without trying too hard has found it here.
On this smooth black dial, only the lettering carries colour: Roman numerals with a green outline at nine of the hours, a triangle in silver at 12, a bar at 9, and minute numbers in steps of five around the outer edge. The baton hands come in silver with a white fill, a thin silver-coloured line serves as the seconds hand, the bezel is ribbed and steel-coloured, and a magnifier sits above the date at three o'clock. On the first image the bracelet has five rows, its centre links polished; in the photo on the wrist it looks three-row, with grooved middle links, and the dial appears closer to anthracite there. Customer Mod Silver slate-green keeps the lettering and layout but puts them on a silvery white dial that has a sunburst finish; the numerals there are filled in a rich green and framed by a dark edge, and the hands are silver-coloured throughout.
Customer Mod Emerald Gold Bezel does without numerals: a green dial with a sunray finish, white baton indices edged in gold colour, a gold-coloured seconds hand, a gold-coloured ribbed bezel and a gold-coloured crown on an otherwise steel-coloured case. Customer Mod Gold & Pink heads in the opposite direction: case, crown, hands and bracelet are gold-coloured throughout, the bezel is smooth, domed and polished, the dial is pink, and the numerals are Eastern Arabic characters in a dark tone. Anyone after a calm, consistently steel-coloured look is well served here; anyone who would like to see the green in a lighter setting should look at the silver-white one, anyone who wants gold with it at the third, and anyone who loves pink with gold at the last. All four run on an NH35 automatic movement.
