The Classic Mod Darkblue Roman is a dress-oriented Seiko Mod that pairs a deep navy dial with Roman numeral hour markers — a pairing with roots in European watchmaking that reads immediately as considered, not loud. The dark blue catches the light differently at every angle, shifting between near-black and rich cobalt depending on the source. In 36 mm or 39 mm it finds a place on wrists of all sizes and sits as naturally under a suit cuff as it does on a weekend.

Movement

Inside runs the Seiko NH35 automatic: hacking seconds for accurate time-setting, hand-winding capability so you never have to shake the watch to life, and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The NH35 is a workhorse movement with a wide service network and a long track record. It runs at 21,600 bph — smooth enough for the sweep to read as genuinely mechanical.
