Movement

Power comes from the Seiko NH35 automatic, a workhorse movement with hacking seconds and hand-winding capability built in. On a typical day's wear the rotor keeps it wound; pull the crown to hack the seconds and set time precisely; wind manually if the watch has been sitting for more than a day or two. The approximately 41-hour power reserve gives comfortable margin for weekends off the wrist. Water resistance is rated to 5 ATM — suitable for hand-washing, rain, and light water contact, though not for diving.

Case & Crystal

The 40 mm case in 316L stainless steel wears a full PVD coating that gives it its signature blacked-out character. The sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant, protecting the dial through the everyday hazards of sleeve catches and countertop brushes. At approximately 12 mm thick the profile stays trim without sacrificing the solid feel the case material provides. A screw-down crown seals the case against water ingress under daily conditions.

Dial & Lume

The black dial is exactly what a stealth sport watch demands: maximum contrast between the applied hands and indices — which carry Super-LumiNova — and the dark background.
