The Seiktos Mod Ocean Blue takes the square-case Seiktos format and gives it a dial colour with warmth and energy: brighter than navy, more vibrant than steel blue, the exact tone you see when the sea catches the afternoon sun. Powered by the Seiko NH35 automatic in a 38 mm stainless steel case.

Movement

The Seiko NH35 automatic movement provides hacking seconds, hand-winding, and approximately 41 hours of power reserve at 21,600 bph. Inside a square case, the movement is surrounded by additional case material compared to a round watch of similar size — which contributes to the robust feel of the Seiktos Mod. Every watch is regulated and tested by MedoMods before leaving the workshop.

Case & Crystal

The 38 mm stainless steel case is the right scale for the square format — visible without overwhelming, fitted in its geometry. Sapphire crystal protects the ocean blue dial from scratches, with Super-LumiNova ensuring legibility in low light. The adjustable crown provides 5 ATM water resistance for daily conditions. The exhibition case back provides a window onto the NH35 movement, adding depth to the visual experience of the watch — square case above, round movement below, both doing their job.

Dial & Design

Ocean blue in a square case has an energy that darker colours do not achieve — it catches light differently in the case corners, creates a slight gradient effect depending on the angle, and simply looks alive in a way that makes the watch interesting to wear throughout the day. The butterfly safety clasp on the stainless steel bracelet keeps the fit secure. Applied Super-LumiNova indices sit cleanly on the vivid ground without crowding the composition.

On the Wrist

The Seiktos Mod Ocean Blue is the variant for someone who wants the square-case character but with more personality in the dial colour — ocean blue is lighter and more expressive than the dark blue variant while remaining entirely suitable for everyday wear. The 38 mm square case covers the wrist differently from a 38 mm round: it has more visual surface area, which the ocean blue dial uses well.
