Quality takes time.
The Seiktos Mod Skeleton takes the dress-watch DNA of the Seiktos line and opens it up — literally. A skeletonized dial removes the solid face, leaving the NH35 movement's bridges, gears, and front mechanism visible from the front, with the rotor visible through the exhibition case back. It is a watch for anyone who finds mechanical movement genuinely interesting to look at, not just to own. The 38 mm stainless steel case keeps proportions elegant: slim enough for a dress occasion, bold enough to be a conversation piece at the table.
Most skeleton watches at this price point hide mediocre movements behind elaborate-looking dials. The Seiktos Mod Skeleton uses an actual Seiko NH35 — a movement watchmakers trust — and lets it speak for itself. The hacking function stops the seconds hand so you can set the time precisely; hand-winding means you can top up the power reserve without taking the watch off and waving your arm around. These are not luxury features — they are basics that budget movements routinely omit.
Each Seiktos Mod Skeleton is hand-assembled by MedoMods. The skeleton dial alignment, sapphire crystal seating, and bracelet adjustment are all checked individually before the watch is boxed. You are buying a handcrafted automatic Seiko Mod, not a shelf-pulled grey import. Ships worldwide with tracking – within the EU: no import duty lands on top of the price you see at checkout. For a standard return, the watch goes back to MedoMods in Leimen, Germany; you arrange and pay for the return shipment yourself.

A Seiko mod is a modified watch that uses an authentic Seiko movement, combined with third-party high-quality parts. Most of our watches come in stainless steel with sapphire crystal.
It usually takes 10–12 days from order to delivery. The reason: we build every watch by hand only after you order it. It then goes through quality control, and only after that do we ship it. With Priority Build (an optional extra for €9.99, chosen on the product page) your watch moves to the front of the bench.
Absolutely. Send us an email with your order number and full name after ordering, stating your desired design or that you want to remove the logo. You can also leave a note at checkout, or contact us before ordering.
Yes. Every watch comes with a 2-year warranty from delivery. It covers manufacturing defects and functional problems under normal use. It doesn't cover scratches, damage from opening the watch, or water damage. If your watch is rated 5 ATM, hand-washing and rain are fine. Avoid diving, hot water and showering.
MedoMods is run by AM GbR, based in Leimen near Heidelberg, Germany. Our address and VAT ID are in the legal notice. You pay through Stripe, for example by card, PayPal or Klarna, and your card details never reach us. For deliveries to the UK, USA and Australia, we offer 14-day returns from delivery. We do not charge an additional restocking fee. We issue refunds within 4 calendar days after receiving the return. Every watch comes with a 2-year warranty. You can find our seller ratings on eBay.
We push prices down as much as we can. We believe many comparable watches are overpriced because shops bundle extras (like extra straps) into the price. We let you choose what you want, so you only pay for what you actually need.
Yes. We source from suppliers who sell authentic Seiko movements. The specific movement is listed on each model’s product page. If you suspect that your watch contains the wrong movement or a non-genuine one, contact us with your order number and a description.

„Die Gestaltung hat mich auf den Fotos sofort angesprochen: die Skelett-Optik und die kantige Form. Am Handgelenk wirkt die Uhr noch stimmiger.“

„Je me posais des questions sur la finition d'une montre modifiée. Un détail rassurant : la forme angulaire et le cadran ajouré.“
