Description

The Naut Mod Blue Skeleton does something most watches keep hidden: it puts the mechanical movement on full display through an open-work skeleton dial, set inside the porthole-inspired integrated-bracelet case that defines the Naut line. The combination of blue skeleton dial and 41 mm brushed stainless steel creates a watch that is simultaneously technical and beautiful — the kind of piece that earns attention at the wrist whether the wearer explains it or not.

Movement

The Seiko NH35 automatic movement powers the Naut Mod Blue Skeleton — hacking seconds, hand-winding, approximately 41 hours of power reserve. With a skeleton dial, the movement is not just a spec on a page; it is part of the design itself. The rotor spins, the gear train turns, and you see all of it through the open dial architecture. Every watch is regulated and tested before shipping.

Case & Crystal

The 41 mm case in brushed stainless steel transitions seamlessly into the integrated bracelet — the porthole-style case shape framing the skeleton dial from a wide, confident bezel. Sapphire crystal with Super-LumiNova indices gives you scratch resistance and low-light legibility in a single layer of glass. The screw-down crown maintains 5 ATM water resistance for daily use. Choose the exhibition case back to see both the dial and the movement simultaneously, or opt for solid steel for a cleaner exterior.

Dial & Design

Blue skeleton dials require confidence to pull off — the wrong blue against open work can look cluttered or cheap. The Naut Mod Blue Skeleton avoids both traps: the blue toning is controlled and considered, complementing the movement architecture rather than competing with it. The result is a dial that rewards close inspection without looking busy from a distance. The integrated bracelet with butterfly safety clasp flows directly from the case in the porthole sports watch tradition.

On the Wrist

At 41 mm with an integrated bracelet, the Naut Mod commands the wrist with purpose. The skeleton dial catches ambient light and creates visual depth that no solid dial can match — you notice the watch differently in different lighting conditions, which gives it staying power as a daily wearer. The Super-LumiNova applied to the indices ensures practical readability is not sacrificed for aesthetics.

FAQ
What is a Seiko mod?
A Seiko mod is a modified watch that uses an authentic Seiko movement, combined with third-party high-quality parts. Most of our watches come in stainless steel with sapphire crystal.
How long will it take to receive my watch?
When you place an order, we order the parts for your design right away. The entire process usually takes about 20 days: parts normally arrive within 2–3 weeks (including weekends). When we receive the parts, we build the watch the same day and ship it as soon as possible after assembly. Watches in stock from time to time ship faster.
Can I customize the logo or remove it?
Absolutely. Send us an email with your order number and full name after ordering, stating your desired design or that you want to remove the logo. You can also leave a note at checkout, or contact us before ordering.

MedoMods is an independent maker and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Seiko, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet or any other brands mentioned. Third-party model names are used descriptively (homage style) only.
