Few dial colours generate as much collector hype as turquoise blue — that particular shade of pale, robin's-egg green-blue that became synonymous with luxury long before the watch world caught on. The Naut Mod turquoise brings that instant-recognition colour to an integrated-bracelet sports watch format, hand-assembled by MedoMods. The result is a Seiko Mod that reads as unambiguously bold from across a room, yet carries the architectural refinement of the Naut case and bracelet up close. It is a statement piece that still wears every day.
turquoise blue works precisely because it is neither conservative nor garish — it occupies a narrow band of colour that feels simultaneously playful and sophisticated. On the Naut's sportier canvas, with its angular case lines and brushed-polish bracelet, the dial creates genuine contrast that makes each glance at the time slightly more enjoyable than a plain white or black. The NH35 inside ensures you never need a battery and can set the seconds precisely to a time signal. Hand-assembled by MedoMods and shipped worldwide with tracking; within the EU without customs friction.
Hand-assembled by MedoMods. Seiko NH35 automatic movement. turquoise blue dial on an integrated-bracelet sports watch body — a combination worth wearing.
The Naut Mod turquoise shows a light turquoise with straight horizontal grooves, carrying light-filled baton indices with a double marker at the top and slim hands; the date sits on the right. Case, bezel and integrated link bracelet are steel-toned, the bezel smooth and unadorned. That is precisely the difference from the Naut Mod turquoise (Diamond): it also wears a turquoise dial, but frames it with a bezel full of rectangular clear stones and replaces the filled indices with elongated stones. On the Naut Mod Silver everything stays as here, only the dial is silver-grey – the variant for when colour should take a back seat on the wrist. The Naut Mod Wave Baby Blue keeps a light blue in a baby-blue shade but breaks with the straight lines: its grooves run in waves, and a single Arabic numeral stands at the top and at the bottom.
The NH35 automatic movement, 41 mm case size and sapphire crystal are identical on all four. If you want the strong turquoise without stones and without a wave pattern, this model is the right one.
The dial of this watch is turquoise, with a slightly greenish cast, and the horizontal lines on it are narrow and lighter than the ground, so that the surface looks almost smooth. Light-filled, elongated indices stand on it, as a pair at the top, the date window sits to the right, while dots edge the rim. The hour and minute hands have a dark outline, while the seconds hand is black and runs thinly across the pale dial. Bezel and case show smooth, steel-coloured metal, and the link bracelet stays in the same tone. In this way the colour stands alone at the centre, with no stones or numerals competing with it and no second tone in the frame.
With Naut Mod Rose Gold Blue it shares the construction but not the effect: there warm, rose-gold coloured metal surrounds a dark blue dial that runs almost to black at the rim, and the hour bars are filled white and set in silver. Naut Mod Dark Blue keeps the steel and the smooth bezel but swaps the turquoise for a deep blue with a lighter centre; the grooves are drawn more strongly there, and the hands carry no dark outline. Naut Mod Black, stone ring is the dark version with a sparkling rim: a black dial, with rectangular, clear, set stones all the way round. All four share the 41 mm size, an NH35 inside and a sapphire crystal. Anyone who wants to wear the light colour with a plain frame sticks with the steel version without setting; for more sparkle around the dial the stone bezel comes into question, and for a warm metal tone the rose-gold watch.
