Day Mod - Black

The Day Mod Black adds the one complication that genuinely changes how you interact with a watch: a date display. There is no day-of-the-week display. At a glance you get the full picture — hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. It is the kind of information that feels obvious once you have it and oddly absent on a simple time-and-date watch. Movement

The Day Mod Black runs an automatic movement with a date display that advances mechanically at midnight. The movement hacks for precise time-setting and winds by hand if needed. A power reserve of around 41 hours keeps it running through a full weekend without wearing it. The exhibition case back lets you appreciate the mechanism behind the displays. The screw-down crown locks the case securely against the 5 ATM water resistance rating.

Case & Crystal

At 40 mm the stainless steel case is properly proportioned for an automatic watch — not so large that the dial feels crowded by the date window, not so small that the text becomes hard to read. The sapphire crystal is treated with Super-LumiNova and an anti-reflective coating, ensuring the date display remains legible whether you are under fluorescent office lighting or checking the time before bed. The screw-down crown at 5 ATM keeps the movement protected against daily moisture and splashes.

Dial & Design

The black dial keeps the date display clear, an arrangement that balances the dial face cleanly. Applied indices catch ambient light and hold Super-LumiNova for low-light reading. The hands are well-proportioned to the 40 mm dial, with the date display sized to be read without squinting. The adjustable stainless steel bracelet with safety folding clasp complements the formal-meets-sport character of a watch with a date display.

On the Wrist

Date displays have traditionally lived in the upper segment of watchmaking, associated with polished gold cases and dress occasions. The Day Mod Black deliberately breaks that association: the blacked-out palette and the stainless steel bracelet keep it grounded in sport-watch territory, making it equally appropriate at a desk and on the weekend. The safety folding clasp adds security for more active wear, and the adjustable bracelet accommodates wrist sizes from around 14.5 cm to 22 cm.

• Every watch comes with a 2-year warranty from delivery. It covers manufacturing defects and functional problems under normal use. It doesn't cover scratches, damage from opening the watch, or water damage.
