Movement

The Day Mod Deep Green runs an automatic movement that drives the day and the date from the same mechanism. Both displays advance mechanically and are set from the crown. The exhibition caseback leaves the rotor on show, so the back of the watch is as finished as the front. Every piece is assembled, regulated and tested by MedoMods before it ships.

Case & Crystal

Forty millimetres of stainless steel is the right size for a dark dial. Deep colours make a case look smaller than it measures, and 40 mm corrects for exactly that — present on the wrist without taking it over. The sapphire crystal keeps the surface clear for years, and the Super-LumiNova on the indices takes over the moment the green drops to black in low light. The screw-down crown secures 5 ATM: rain, hand washing, the washing-up and a quick length of the pool are all accounted for.

Dial & Design

Racing green works because it is two watches in one. In an office or a restaurant it behaves like a dark dial and stays out of the way. Outdoors, in raking light or full sun, the saturation arrives and the green gains depth rather than shine. Applied indices and hands sit bright against the dark ground, so the day and date stay legible without hunting for them.
