Movement

The Oak Mod runs the Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz hybrid. This is not a simple quartz tick: the VK63 uses a quartz oscillator for timekeeping precision while driving the hands via a mechanical gear train, giving the sweep of an automatic at quartz accuracy. The result is a crisp, fluid seconds hand that makes the watch feel alive on the wrist. A sapphire exhibition caseback lets you appreciate the movement architecture — or opt for solid steel if you prefer a cleaner look.

Case & Crystal

The 41 mm case is brushed stainless steel throughout, carrying the signature integrated bracelet that defines this style. A screw-down crown provides 5 ATM water resistance — adequate for daily wear and the occasional splash. The sapphire crystal is treated with Super-LumiNova on the dial side, ensuring legibility in low light despite the otherwise all-dark aesthetic. The anti-reflective coating keeps the dial readable even against bright light sources.

Dial & Design

Everything on this dial is deliberate. The horizontal guilloché-inspired texture on a black background catches light differently depending on the angle, creating depth without adding colour. Applied indices catch what ambient light is available and glow when the lights go out, courtesy of Super-LumiNova. It is a watch that rewards a second look — and a third.

On the Wrist

The adjustable stainless steel bracelet closes with a butterfly safety clasp that unfolds smoothly for removal and clicks solidly shut. The integrated design means the bracelet tapers naturally from the case — no floating lugs, no gap between case and bracelet — which is precisely what makes this silhouette so satisfying. Size range accommodates wrists from around 14.5 cm to 22 cm.
