Blue dial, blue rubber strap, rose-gold accents: the Tona Mod in this combination is unapologetically bold. It is built in the spirit of the racing chronograph — three subdials, a tachymeter bezel, pushers at 2 and 4 — but at 40 mm it wears far more comfortably than many chronographs in this style. The rose-gold detailing on the case and subdial accents warms the blue tone in a way that pure steel cannot, giving this variant a personality that is distinct within the Tona line.

Movement

The primary movement option is the Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz — a genuine quartz motor that drives fully functional chronograph pushers with the crisp, snappy feel of a traditional mechanical column-wheel. Stop, reset, run: all three functions work precisely as intended. For those who prefer automatic movement, an NH35 option is available; note that with the NH35, the chronograph subdials and pushers are decorative only. Choose based on how you intend to use the watch.

Case & Crystal

The 40 mm case is machined from 316L stainless steel, approximately 12 mm thick — a proportion that keeps the chronograph wearable without feeling thin. Sapphire crystal resists scratching and keeps the busy dial legible at any angle. Water resistance is rated to 5 ATM, suitable for everyday use and incidental splashes. The bracelet runs from approximately 14.5 cm to 22 cm and ships with a sizing tool for at-home adjustment.

Dial & Design

The blue dial and rose-gold subdial rings work together in a way that feels considered rather than accidental — the warmth of rose gold softens what would otherwise be a very cool colour palette. The tachymeter bezel in matching rose-gold tone completes the palette without overcrowding the design. Whether you choose the logo or no-logo variant, the dial architecture remains clean and purposeful.

On the Wrist

The blue rubber strap is the right choice for this colour combination: it keeps the palette unified, adds sport-watch credibility, and is far more comfortable in warm weather than a metal bracelet.
