Date Mod Classic Rosé

The Date Mod Classic Rosé works with a heavily muted pink carrying a grey component — far from pastel, closer to a warm grey that only reveals itself as a colour on second look. Against stainless steel it makes an unusually soft combination. MedoMods builds it by hand in three case sizes.

Movement

The Seiko NH35 automatic keeps time inside: hacking seconds so you can set the time precisely, hand-winding so you can start the watch without wearing it first, and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. The date at three o'clock advances mechanically at midnight. The exhibition case back exposes the rotor and bridges of the NH35 through a sapphire window — a satisfying daily detail on a mechanical watch.

Case, Crystal & Bracelet

316L stainless steel case in 36 mm, 39 mm, or 41 mm (crown excluded). The sapphire crystal sits above the dial, scratch-resistant and optically clear. Super-LumiNova on the hands and indices keeps the watch legible in low light — useful on the dial where contrast between hands and surface matters most after dark. The screw-down crown and 5 ATM water resistance handle everyday exposure to water without concern. The adjustable stainless steel bracelet covers a wide range of wrist sizes and the safety folding clasp holds it securely.

Why Rosé

Rosé is the most restrained of the unusual colours. The grey in the mix takes all the sweetness out of the tone and lets it work with grey, navy and camel without ingratiating itself. At 36 mm it makes a particularly balanced watch; at 41 mm, a surprisingly calm one. On a handcrafted Seiko mod with a proper NH35 inside, the same mechanics sit behind the soft dial as behind every other colour.

Ordering and delivery

• Every watch comes with a 2-year warranty from delivery. It covers manufacturing defects and functional problems under normal use. It doesn't cover scratches, damage from opening the watch, or water damage.
