The DAY MOD Fuchsia Roman sits under sapphire in a saturated magenta pink (#c60a5f) that reads open and electric in daylight and drops into something closer to deep berry under a lamp. The Movement

Inside is an automatic movement with a combined day and date complication. It winds itself from the motion of your wrist, so there is no battery to think about. Weekday and date appear together on the dial, which is the information most people actually check during the day. The exhibition caseback leaves the mechanics on show rather than shutting them behind solid steel.

Case and Crystal

The 40 mm stainless steel case is deliberately sized to let the colour carry without taking over the wrist. Brushed and polished steel cools the warmth of the pink and keeps the watch from tipping into novelty. A sapphire crystal guards the dial against scratches, the screw-down crown seals the case, and 5 ATM covers rain, splashes and washing your hands.

Dial and Design

On a pale dial, roman numerals are dark marks. Here the relationship inverts: the numerals sit bright against saturated magenta, and the sheer difference in brightness draws every serif in hard. The stroke-heavy positions — VIII, XII — stay countable at a glance instead of blurring into the colour. Slim baton markers run between them, so the numerals set the classical tone while the batons do the fast reading. Super-LumiNova on the indices keeps the dial readable once the pink has gone to black in the dark.

On the Wrist

Forty millimetres on a steel bracelet wears flat and quiet — the colour flashes when a cuff pulls back, then disappears again. The bracelet comes in three characters: President for a supple, dressy drape, Oyster for a broad and matter-of-fact stance, and Jubilee for finer links and more sparkle, which lifts the magenta another notch.
