Quality takes time.
Roman numerals on a muted olive dial — the Day Mod Olive Roman is a Seiko mod that plays with contrast between old-world typography and a contemporary earthy colourway. The Roman hour markers give the dial a classical character that sets it apart from the Arabic-numeral majority in any watch drawer, while the olive background keeps the overall mood grounded and versatile. Assembled by hand at MedoMods, this is an automatic watch with a date display that you configure once and wear daily. There is no day-of-the-week display.
The olive dial is having a moment that shows no signs of passing — it reads differently across lighting conditions and pairs with leather, rubber, and metal straps equally well. Roman numeral hour markers slow down the reading experience in a pleasant way, drawing the eye around the dial rather than just snapping to 12 and 6. Together, the combination works as well on a linen shirt as it does with a jacket.
MedoMods puts together every Day Mod Olive Roman to order and ships from within the EU — transparent pricing, no import charges after checkout. The automatic movement inside is fully serviceable with widely available parts, so this watch is built to be passed along eventually, not disposed of.

Absolutely. Send us an email with your order number and full name after ordering, stating your desired design or that you want to remove the logo. You can also leave a note at checkout, or contact us before ordering.
Yes. Every watch comes with a 2-year warranty from delivery. It covers manufacturing defects and functional problems under normal use. It doesn't cover scratches, damage from opening the watch, or water damage. If your watch is rated 5 ATM, hand-washing and rain are fine. Avoid diving, hot water and showering.
MedoMods is run by AM GbR, based in Leimen near Heidelberg, Germany. Our address and VAT ID are in the legal notice. You pay through Stripe, for example by card, PayPal or Klarna, and your card details never reach us. For deliveries to the UK, USA and Australia, we offer 14-day returns from delivery. We do not charge an additional restocking fee. We issue refunds within 4 calendar days after receiving the return. Every watch comes with a 2-year warranty. You can find our seller ratings on eBay.
We push prices down as much as we can. We believe many comparable watches are overpriced because shops bundle extras (like extra straps) into the price. We let you choose what you want, so you only pay for what you actually need.
Yes. We source from suppliers who sell authentic Seiko movements. The specific movement is listed on each model’s product page. If you suspect that your watch contains the wrong movement or a non-genuine one, contact us with your order number and a description.

„I wasn't sure the design would look as good in person. My favourite detail is the Roman numerals, the olive-green colour and the Day dial design.“

„Ich habe erst genau hingesehen, bevor ich sie behalten habe. Hier zeigt sich die Liebe zum Detail: die Day-Zifferblattgestaltung, die römischen Ziffern und der olivgrüne Ton.“

„Je la porte plus souvent que prévu. Une raison : le cadran Day, les chiffres romains et le vert olive.“
