On the 3-6-9 field dial Mod White, a smooth white dial sits inside a brushed steel ring whose black numerals from 2 to 24 are the only dark marks around the dial. Dots, triangle and bars have a white fill with a black rim, and so do the hands; the hour hand has a round tip with three spokes, the seconds hand a dot. Because dial and ring are almost equally bright, the black outlines give the eye its hold. The orange belongs to the fourth hand with its large open arrowhead, which stands out especially clearly against the pale ground. The date magnifier sits at 3 o'clock, the crown stands between sturdy case shoulders, and the steel-coloured bracelet runs in three rows. Where other watches in this group show colour on the bezel or the dial, everything here stays light and matter-of-fact.
