The Tona Mod Moon brings together two worlds that rarely meet at this price point: a functional meca-quartz chronograph and a moonphase display, all in a 40 mm stainless steel case. As part of both the Tona Mod and Moon Mod collections, it combines the sporty bracelet architecture of a racing chronograph with the romantic complication that moon-mod enthusiasts come to MedoMods for. Powered by the Seiko VK63, built by hand in Germany.

Two Complications, One Watch

Adding a moonphase to a chronograph raises an obvious question: does the dial get cluttered? On the Tona Mod Moon, the answer is no — the subdials are arranged to give each complication its own visual space, with the moonphase display acting as an anchor rather than an afterthought. The 904L bracelet links are polished and brushed in alternation, giving the watch a premium appearance that punches well above what the price suggests. The VK63 keeps the whole thing running accurately without ever needing to be wound.
